Well done Yr 5 – your parents will be so proud of you on Tuesday evening for sharing the Gospel message so beautifully. Here’s a taster for you … … Enjoy!!!
Paper aeroplanes provided lots of fun this week. How can you make your plane go further? What happens when you change the design or add the extra weight of a paper clip?
We were also busy planting seeds this week. Seed packets gave us lots of information to help us decide how to plant our seeds and when to plant them. We are hoping to transform our class garden. Keep looking and let us know what you think!
We celebrated St. Joseph’s and St. Patrick’s day in style this afternoon! Our assembly started with the Year 6 Chaplaincy Team sharing the Gospel with us, with the key message being to follow Jesus.
Next we listened to some more members of the Chaplaincy Team telling us about St. Joseph and St. Patrick.
They then shared a special prayer with us…
May the Strength of God pilot us.
May the Power of God preserve us.
May the Wisdom of God instruct us.
May the Hand of God protect us.
May the Way of God direct us.
May the Shield of God defend us.
May the Host of God guard us.
Against the snares of the evil ones.
Against temptations of the world
May Christ be with us!
May Christ be before us!
May Christ be in us,
Christ be over all!
May Thy Salvation, Lord,
Always be ours,
This day, O Lord, and evermore. Amen.
Up next was the main event, the part we were all looking forward to, watching our talented Irish dancers!
Special thanks to the parents that helped organise the assembly! Well done everyone!

It looks like the BBC will have great coverage of the event as cloud could be covering Stevenage, and astronomy live have a live link http://astronomynow.com/2014/10/23/live-coverage-of-the-partial-eclipse-of-the-sun/
Today Jonathan and his assistant came to fix the top of the willow hut.
They had to make big circles out of sticks (because of the string was weak so it wouldn’t hold all the twigs) which is hard to make and take’s around an hour.
And all we need to do is wait until it starts to bloom.
They spent most of the day rebuilding the willow room.
