Wow, Year Two have been super busy this week. We were excited by the birth of the ducklings. Our class named the duckling born on the Queen’s birthday, Queen Elizabeth seemed the perfect choice!
We had a visitor from Stevenage museum to help support our work on The Great Fire of London. It was brilliant to be able to handle the artefacts.
The Great Fire was used to inspire some excellent diary writing in the style of Samuel Pepys.
In Maths we have been learning about 3d shapes.
In RE the story of Doubting Thomas gave us an opportunity to think about belief.
The week is ending with more excitement as we will be using our new outdoor equipment for the first time! A sand kitchen.
