This week in Year 6

This week started with a walk down to Bowes Lyon to take part in various crucial crew sessions. We heard from the police, fire brigade, train drivers and many other members of the community about staying safe at home, online and in public places.

In literacy this week we read more of War Horse and tried to predict the ending; we’re waiting to find out if anyone was correct! 🤔 In numeracy we completed some old SATs papers and then worked with a partner to find and fix our mistakes.
The Munich Agreement was a focus in our history lesson this week. In RE we explored the new commandment. Well done Year 6, you produced some beautiful pieces of work!

House Captain elections took place this week; well done to the children that put themselves forward! I’m looking forward to the first house meeting!

Have a fantastic weekend!
