Year 6 enjoyed creating their own diversity books today! They included information about countries and places that they have links to, ranging from various foods to currency to the language itself!
We also spent some time looking a poem about refugees. We looked at the language used and how it made us feel. It was a very clever poem, when we read it from the top to the bottom the children were very angry, however, once we read it from the bottom to the top the message and tone was reversed and they were much happier!
