This week in Year 3 we were visited on Monday by some furry friends from Paradise Wildlife Park. Did you manage to compare a hedgehog with a tenrec at home? We spent a bit of time thinking about the book Have you filled a bucket today? and explored the things that we can do to fill each others buckets (make others happy) and the things we can do to fill our own bucket (make ourselves happy). In Maths we have been learning how to find fractions of shape, quantities and numbers. In English we have been doing some amazing writing on recounts using the book a dark dark tale. Perhaps you could share what was in your box with your family at home. In RE we reflected on what our conscience is and began thinking of ways our conscience can guide us- you could tell your families two ways to strengthen your conscience. In history we did some research on the stone age diet and found out that early humans lived as hunter-gathers. In art we carried on our self portrait ready to add colour to it next week.
Have a great weekend!
