This week in Year 6

Another busy week in Year 6!
On Monday afternoon the children took part in the K’nex challenge. They had to build a bridge that would allow a car to pass over it and then move/open to allow a boat to pass through it. Excellent collaboration and problem solving! 👌
On Tuesday, we had a lovely morning at The John Henry Newman School, we were invited to watch their performance of ‘Oliver’. It was wonderful to see lots of past pupils from our school performing in the play.
In RE we reflected on Mary’s hope and trust in God and we used scripture to support our views about her. We also thought about how we can use Mary as an inspiration to us all.
We’ve spent more time working through various SATs practice papers this week – working with a partner to explain how we approach certain questions. We also continued with our daily maths challenges.
Don’t forget, we will be walking to St. Andrew and St. George’s Church on Wednesday morning to take part in Bridgebuilder’s Easter Journey.
Have a wonderful weekend! IMG_2844IMG_2845IMG_2843
