We welcomed everyone to St Patrick’s day with an Irish dancing display from some of our talented children this morning.
After praying for the people of Ireland across the world and asking St patrick for his protection, we all left wearing a shamrock badge. Maybe ask your child ‘why the shamrock?’
Thanks to Miss Grant, Mrs O’Brien & Mrs Howard for preparing our dancers and to the five girls for their fantastic efforts!
Have a glorious St Patrick’s day full of fun, laughter and family!
God bless you and yours
Can your children explain the links between the items in the photos below and this weekend’s Gospel?
We enjoyed singing a lively version of ‘This Little Light of Mine’ twice!!!
We explored this weekend’s Gospel reading by working out the symbolic meaning behind the three gifts during our assembly this afternoon.
Ask the children why gold, frankincense & myrrh? Not exactly your usual baby gifts!
We prayed that we could be more like the star that led the Magi to the infant child, bringing others to Jesus through our example.
We also thought about New Years Resolutions for 2017. Some related to locker doors, others to getting ourselves ready and prepared before school at home. What’s your resolution?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
