This week our class caterpillars began to get bigger and bigger, sparking off lots of learning by measuring, observing, comparing and recording sizes. We have also been exploring the various stages of the butterfly life cycle and learning the correct vocabulary to use. Our favourite was the word used to describe the changing process that a caterpillar undergoes to become a butterfly…metamorphosis! We had great fun sound talking and blending that word!
Wednesday began a special month of devotion to Our Lady. We decided to create special blue hearts to show our love for Mary, on which we drew a picture of her and made up our own prayers to her. Next week, we’ll hang them around the Mary garden.
