This week we have been working hard on our story telling skills.
Our inside role play area has changed into a magic shop. We have created potions and then written magic spells that included ingredients lists and instructions for creating the potion. Watch out for rainbows in unusual places and lots of frogs.
Our outside role play area is now a train station which has a platform, waiting room and plenty of tracks for the trains. Passenger lists have been created and tickets written out, as well as, recounts written about when we travelled on a train.
The Find out Friday challenge had us using small world people and animals to create a narrative with our partners. Lots of story language was used and plenty of fabulous words such as ‘exploded’ and ‘disappeared’.
