The glorious weather gave Year 2 the opportunity for lots of outdoor activity this week. We worked really hard and earned some extra playtime. This gave us the chance for some much awaited football matches. Our Sports Day was on Wednesday and Year 2 showed resilience and an excellent attitude. It was wonderful to see you all working together and wearing your team colours. Thank you parents for making sure everyone was so beautifully turned out. Well done Year 2. We spent time thinking about the importance of exercise and activity, having fun and supporting each other.
Today we watched the Key Stage 2 Sports Day and cheered on their team mates. We are excited to see which house wins the trophy this year.
We had a 50 word spelling test today to check our spelling of the Year 2 Common Exception Words. Wow! Your scores were excellent Year 2. I am sure you will be able to reach that 50 target next week if you didn’t do it this time.
